The Car
With our 2015 solar car, we were determined to improve on our attempt 2 years prior. There were significant changes compared to our previous car SolAce, the aerobody of the car had been completely redesigned utilising a catarmaran layout, alongside changes in the suspension and driver systems. We tested UNLIMITED over 1000km across the outback and on track prior to the beginning of the 2015 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

With our new shade of crimson and new innovations we set off into the harsh Australian outback. On our journey UNLIMITED was truely pushed to the limits, suffering severe damage to the solar array, however, quick thinking and repairs had UNLIMITED back on the road in no time, conquering all 3022km of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and finishing in 10th place.

Composite Construction
Working with LSM Advanced Composites, we were able to build the mechanical system of the car entirely out of carbon fibre; from the new aerobody to the suspension system, lowering the weight of our car by over 100kg to a final weight of just 170kg.
