The Team

We are a team of 25 students from Western Sydney University, we push the boundaries of engineering and manufacturing to build cars for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Since our formation in 2011 we have engineered and built 4 cars and are hard at work on our next car for the 2023 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge

The Challenge

The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge (BWSC) is an international event where teams aim to traverse the 3022 kilometres from Darwin to Adelaide using solar powered vehicles. This event puts our engineering efforts to the ultimate test as our cars must withstand the harsh Australian outback.

The Roadshow

We drove UNLIMITED 2.0 over 5 days through regional NSW in 2022. We toured various renewable energy zones, ran school and community engagement events and did laps at various race tracks to spread our message about renewable energy and the future of transportation.
