A team of 4 honours students started our first foray into solar racing. The team quickly grew and produced our very first car. We came heartbreakingly close to finishing, completing 2891km out of 3022km. Their performance has laid the foundations for every car since.

UNLIMITED 2.0
2017
2017, our most challenging year yet, facing the most severe storms Central Australia has seen in over 50 years. We battled through 3 days of cloud cover and torrential rain, managing to beat the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge yet again. This time securing 6th place in the world, and best Australian Challenger.
In 2018, we broadened our horizons, taking UNLIMITED 2.0 across the Pacific to be the first team to represent Australia in the American Solar Challenge. We earned the title of fastest lap in the Formula Sun Grand Prix and won 4 of 5 stages of the American Solar Challenge. Overall we took out 1st place in the entire event.
